    Societe Generale Offices

    Introduction

During mid July 2014, Societe Generale Serbia presented project of its new office building in Belgrade.

The building is built in order to house workers from offices in various locations around the city. The decision was made to construct new administrative building in New Belgrade’s block 21, which is a location of their HQ since 2006. The building will be built in partnership with "Imel group" that already built most of the new buildings in that block, including the older facility at the corner of Boulevards Zoran Đinđić and Antifasisticke borbe.

The new building is slightly larger than the old one and has nearly 11,000 square meters, divided into seven above ground floors (Gf+5+Ph). It is an A class office space with following facilities for employees. In this case it will be a training center, space for multimedia and entertainment etc.

Particularly interesting are the outstanding characteristics of the project’s sustainability. More and more investors are using excellent conditions for exploitation of thermal energy in New Belgrade, and this facility will also have an excellent energy record. Planned is a mini powerhouse, and installation of solar cells on parking for charging el. cars, collecting rainwater for technical use etc. In this regard, they announced the highest standards of green and sustainable development.

The construction of new Societe Generale office building will begin later this summer, with completion expected in the first quarter of 2016. The value of the works is estimated at EUR 14.5 million.
